Frequently Asked Questions

  • We will be sending formal invitations via USPS in early 2024. Keep an eye out!

     

    If you have a change of address in the coming months, please let us know!

  • We will be including an RSVP card, along with a pre-addressed and stamped envelope, in your wedding invitation! Please be sure to return it by the date specified on the invite so we can count you in for our big day!

  • We ask that guests dress in Cocktail or Semi-formal attire. 

    Ladies are encouraged to wear fun and classy dresses or skirts (of any length), or a jumpsuit or pantsuit if dresses aren't your thing! Feel free to pair your dress or suit with heels, wedges, dressy sandals, or flats. Please note: The ceremony will be held on the grass, and the reception will take place on the patio. 

     

    As for men, opt for a dress shirt and slacks - ties and jackets are optional!

  • Feel free to arrive as early as 20 minutes before the ceremony start time.

     

    Please note: Guests that arrive after the ceremony start time will kindly be asked to wait near the back of the venue.

  • The Bluff Private Event Venue is located at 20200 Live Oak Road in Red Bluff, CA. We included a map at the bottom of this page for your convenience, but basic driving directions from Sacramento are below:

    • Take I-5 North toward Woodland, Redding (120+ miles)

    • Take exit 647 onto Main Street (0.3 miles)

    • Turn left onto S Main Street (toward Shasta college) (0.5 miles)

    • Turn left onto Luther Road (1.5 miles)

    • Turn left onto Paskenta Road (0.8 miles)

    • Turn left onto Live Oak Road (1.6 miles)

    • The venue will be down the road on the right!

  • The venue comes equipped with a large dirt parking area directly in front of the venue, so you won't need to walk far! However, please let us know in advance if you require special parking accommodations.

  • As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration, apart from our ring bearers and flower girls.

     

    We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on our special day!

  • We are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Due to venue and vendor limitations, we are not allowing any additional guests at this time. We appreciate your understanding!

  • We will be having one of our favorites... barbecue! Come prepared for grilled chicken, tri-tip, potatoes, and macaroni and cheese! We'll also be serving bread and salad.

    Please let us know well in advance if you have any dietary restrictions that might keep you from enjoying dinner with us. We will do our best to find an alternative option for you!

  • The venue is located in a rural area, so taxi and rideshare services may not be available. We want all of our guests to make it home safely, so please plan your transportation accordingly! 

    Please note: Should you choose to carpool back to the hotel after the reception, the venue allows guests to leave their vehicles overnight. Guests must pick up their vehicles no later than 12pm the following day.

  • The Bluff is a private event venue located in the countryside of Red Bluff, CA! Visit their website for more information and follow them on Instagram and Facebook!

  • We have some amazing vendors lined up for our celebration! We will be happy to provide a list of vendor names and contact information after the big day.
